Danny Valenzuela served as our team’s coach during the inauguration of Leaders Across Borders, an action based, experiential learning initiative under the direction of the University of Arizona, sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the U.S. – Mexico Border Health Commission. The major goal of this program is to provide binational leadership training and networking opportunities for those whose mission is to optimize health and improve the quality of life along the border. Danny possesses excellent emotional intelligence, combined with strong interpersonal skills which enabled him to establish a trusting and supportive relationship with each of the four members of our Leaders Across Borders team. He is a keenly analytical coach who is adroit at reframing, thereby helping individuals and teams to build from their strengths and to maximally develop their competencies.
