Leadership Lesson Are Not Frozen in Time:
In 1914, Sir Ernest Shackleton led the Endurance Expedition in an attempt to be the first person to cross the unexplored Antarctic continent on foot. What followed is one of the greatest survival stories of all time. Learn the leadership skills Shackleton possessed and how he used them to get him and all his men out alive after almost two years trapped on the ice. Five major leadership lessons we learn from Shackleton are discussed with an explanation on how they are still relevant today. ~ 1 to 1.5 hours

Characteristics of Leadership:
Do you have the characteristics of a leader? Leadership is a challenge, and knowing the characteristics of good leaders can enhance your skills and prepare you to be the one people are “willing” to follow. This session discusses the basic characteristics of leadership and why they are important. An exercise is included to learn which characteristics are most important to you and how those characteristics compare to responses from around the world. ~ 1 hour

Effective Communications for Leadership:
Individuals who articulate well, both privately and in front of a group, are generally perceived to be more intelligent and possess greater leadership qualities. This session will provide you with basic presentation skills and give you simple ideas to become a better speaker. This session also includes exercises on the importance of effective communications and speaking off the cuff. ~1 to 1.5 hours

The Art and Science of Coaching:
A presentation that provides the opportunity to learn about coaching and the many benefits it offers. This session will define what coaching is by defining it, explaining what is necessary in a coaching relationship and how it’s done. Also explained are the qualifications of a coach, the four cornerstones of coaching and the differences between coaching, consulting, mentoring and therapy. The framework of a coaching session is explained as are the types of coaching, coaching skills ad some coaching tools. ~1 hour

Public Speaking and Liking It:
Six powerful packed days scheduled to fit your needs. The program provides communications and presentation skills training for 5-10 individuals. The program covers the following principles: Off the cuff presentations, organizing and preparing presentations, building strong messages, importance of body language, vocal variety, exploring different types of presentations. Participants learn in a supportive environment and deliver presentations, some of which are recorded and videotaped. ~3 two day sessions
